Most people that have tattoos have at least one that causes them a few regrets. Laser tattoo removal works by breaking down the pigment in the ink. The energy from the laser is focused directly onto the ink where it breaks it down into tiny fragments which are, over time, absorbed by the body and then passed out as waste. However, it is important to be aware that tattoo removal isn’t a simple process. Some tattoos break down more easily than others, and while some may disappear completely, others may not and will leave a shadow where they once were. Laser tattoo removal is also very uncomfortable and sometimes painful. Nevertheless, many men feel that the discomfort is well worth accepting if it means that they have their tattoo removed.
